Muon Space introduced its XL satellite platform, a 500-kilogram-class spacecraft designed for the most demanding constellation missions. Hubble Network was announced as the first customer, selecting the platform for its Bluetooth-from-space connectivity service.
The XL platform extends Muon’s Halo product line to accommodate larger payloads and higher power requirements. The spacecraft supports missions requiring greater instrument mass, more onboard processing, and increased data throughput.
Hubble Network’s mission will leverage the XL platform to provide direct satellite-to-device Bluetooth connectivity, enabling IoT applications in remote areas without terrestrial infrastructure.
