Muon Space received a Stage II contract from the National Reconnaissance Office under the Strategic Commercial Enhancements framework. The phase focuses on validating infrared capabilities for multispectral electro-optical and infrared data collection.
The contract includes an end-to-end demonstration of Muon’s EO/IR capabilities with continued NRO testing and evaluation. The technology supports persistent situational awareness of global thermal activity.
CEO Jonny Dyer noted the award represents growing confidence in Muon’s ability to deliver timely, high-quality data from space for national security and disaster resilience applications.
