Muon Space completed a $146 million Series B funding round to scale satellite constellation production for defense and commercial missions. The round included the strategic acquisition of propulsion startup Starlight Engines.
The funding accelerates production capacity expansion and enables Muon to deliver up to 500 satellites annually in the 100kg to 500kg+ range. The company’s vertically integrated approach spans spacecraft, instruments, and ground operations.
The capital supports delivery of multiple constellation programs including FireSat for wildfire monitoring, Vindlér for RF intelligence, and growing national security contracts.
